Entrepreneur of the Week

In this feature series, I briefly introduce some fabulous entrepreneurial ladies – a fun snapshot of the lady behind the business.

Lynn Lambe of Little Lambe Consultancy
Describe your business in 25 words or less

Ireland’s only dedicated construction marketing agency.

Do you remember your first client?

Yes, they are two people who I very much admire and they played a pivotal role in me establishing my business and having the belief to follow my dream.

Running your own business can feel like you’re always available. Where’s the strangest place you’ve taken a work call?

I took a call about 2 weeks ago in at precisely 2,962 metres above sea level on the Zugspitze mountain in Austria which actually has three glaciers and Germany’s highest ski resort.

What would you say is the worst idea you’ve ever had when it comes to your business?

Thankfully nothing as of yet!

I am not even a full year into business yet and I spent so much time researching the market that it’s all gone to plan so far!

What‘s your favourite part of your working day?

Getting up in the morning, getting to the gym and feeling motivated and alert for the day ahead.

My most productive time is definitely the morning!

How about your least favourite?

Nothing really sticks out but probably the 5.00 pm slump.

Where did you grow up?

Mount Merrion in Dublin.

What was your first ever job?

I worked in my aunties travel agent from the age of about 14.

I used to get the bus into town, deliver post and get coffees – I thought it was the most important job in the world and I was so grown up!!

Tell us one interesting thing about you that most people may not know.

I play camogie with Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club.

What would be your karaoke song of choice?

“Shallow” by Lady Gaga.
